Thompson celebrates 25 years as an independent investment advisor. 2009 – Betty Kepley, CFA joins the firm as Director of Research. 2009 – Jason L. Stephens and James T. Evans are named Co-Portfolio managers of the Thompson Plumb Growth Fund and Thompson Plumb Bond Fund. 2009 – Donald A. Nichols is named Chairman of the Board for Thompson Plumb Funds, Inc. 2008 – James T. Evans and Jason L. Stephens are named co-portfolio managers of the Thompson Plumb MidCap Fund. 2008 – The Thompson Plumb MidCap Fund (THPMX) is established with John W. Thompson as Portfolio Manager. 2005 – James T. Evans, CFA joins the firm as Research Analyst. 2004 – John W. Thompson becomes President of Thompson Investment Management. John C. Thompson becomes Vice-President of Thompson Investment Management. 2002 – Jason L. Stephens joins the firm as Research Analyst. 2001 – Roland Reinholtz, CFA joins our firm. After heading up the equity division at First Wisconsin (now US Bank) Mr. Reinholtz established Northern Capital Management as a founding partner and Chairman. Rollie has 45 years of investment experience. 1992 – The Thompson Plumb Growth Fund (THPGX) is established. 1992 – The Thompson Plumb Bond Fund (THOPX) is established. 1987 – John W. Thompson becomes co-founder and Chairman of Thompson Plumb Funds, Inc. 1984 – John W. Thompson becomes co-founder and President of Thompson, Plumb & Associates. 1980 – John W. Thompson earns his CFA designation. 1973 – John W. Thompson is Senior Trust and Investment Officer at Firstar Bank in Madison, WI. 1967 – John W. Thompson earns a M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. |
